De Bruyne has registered over 20 caps since making his international debut in 2010 with 10 of those coming during World Cup qualifying.

CLUB CAREER

After starting his career with Genk, De Bruyne signed with Chelsea in 2012. However, he failed to make an impression either with the London based team or on two different loan spells and was moved to Wolfsburg. He scored three goals in the Bundesliga this season.
