CAREER HIGHLIGHTS (CHICAGO FIRE):
- Chicago Fire FC midfielder Brian Gutiérrez joined the First Team from the Chicago Fire Academy on March 9, 2020.
- In 2023, Gutiérrez led the team in assists (9) and was named Team MVP that season.
- Additionally, he was named to the BODYARMOR 22 Under 22 list for 2023.
- Since joining the Fire’s First Team, Gutiérrez has appeared in 104 matches (67 starts) and has recorded seven goals and 18 assists with Chicago.
- Gutiérrez was awarded Team of the Matchday honors for Matchday 1+2 following his performance against Philadelphia on Feb. 26.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
- The 16th Homegrown in Club history joined from the Chicago Fire Academy.
- On the international scene, Gutiérrez has been a mainstay since 2017 for the U.S. Boys’ Youth National Teams.
- At the 2019 Nike International Friendlies, Gutiérrez earned an assist in the finals to lift the U.S. U-16 Boys’ National Team to a comeback victory against Turkey.
2023 (CHICAGO FIRE): In his fourth full season with Chicago Fire FC, Gutiérrez led the team in assists (9) and was named team MVP that season. In 2023, he recorded two goals for the Fire, the most by a Homegrown in a Fire uniform. Additionally, he was named to the BODYARMOR 22 Under 22 list for 2023 alongside goalkeeper Chris Brady.

Gutiérrez, 16, has been a standout in the Academy since 2015 and marks the 16th Homegrown signing for the Fire in Club history. He is under contract with the Fire until 2023 with a Club option for 2024.
In his time with the Fire Academy, Gutiérrez has appeared in 79 matches (73 starts), while tallying 28 goals and 39 assists. Under Academy coach Jeff DeGroot, Gutiérrez developed into one of the most talented midfield prospects in the United States.
