Fernandez has only played 14 minutes in his first two seasons, but the young Homegrown midfielder – he turned 20 in February – could make an impact in 2017.

INTERNATIONAL: A US international at the U-14, U-15, U-17, U-18 and U-20 levels, Fernandez made his U-20 debut in 2015, appearing at the Stevan Vilotic-Cele tournament in Serbia in September and appearing in three games at the Four Nations Cup in Germany. Additionally, he helped the US U-18s to the title at the 2014 Vaclav Jezek international tournament in the Czech Republic.
