HomegrownDueñas joined the Dynamo ahead of the 2025 MLS season, following a five-season tenure with LAFC, where he most prominently featured in the 2023 and 2024 campaigns. Over those two seasons, the Los Angeles native totaled 34 appearances (12 starts) and recorded two assists. He also helped LAFC to an MLS Cup Final appearance in 2023 and a U.S. Open Cup title in 2024. In total, Dueñas made 48 appearances and 16 starts across all competitions for LAFC.
Notably, Dueñas kicked off his MLS career in 2020 after signing a homegrown contract with LAFC, making his MLS debut in October versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC as the third youngest player (now sixth youngest) to appear in a league match at the age of 15 years, 362 days.
