Griffin Dorsey

Dorsey joined the Dynamo in 2021 and quickly established himself as key player to the team, earning the Club’s Young Player of the Year honors in his debut season and becoming constant starter since then. In 2023, he scored the opening goal in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final versus Inter Miami CF and converted the winning penalty in a shootout versus Real Salt Lake to help Houston advance to the Western Conference Semifinals. Notably, the Dynamo posted an 11-3-8 (WLD) record in all competitions in matches he started that year. The Evergreen, Colorado native also played a crucial role in helping the Dynamo qualify for the MLS Cup Playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2013, while the team set club records for points (54) and road wins (8) during the 2024 campaign.
