Jonathan Jimenez Vargas

2022: Jiminez was signed to a homegrown contract in January, featuring for NYCFC II throughout the campaign, scoring 10 goals and crafting two assists in 19 appearances. He was named on the bench for the first-team in May’s 3-1 US Open Cup win over Rochester New York, and was rewarded for his efforts by having his options exercised for 2023 in November.

2021: He played 18 games for the University of North Carolina, tallying one goal and two assists, finishing third on the team in shots.

2019: The forward provided a vital contribution in the team’s back-to-back U-18/19 Development Academy Championships, scoring in the 2019 Final.

2017: Jimenez joined the NYCFC Academy.
