CURRENT CLUB: Alajuelense (Costa Rica)

Patrick Pemberton is the Ticos backup goalkeeper and Alajuelense’s current captain.

COSTA RICAN NATIONAL TEAM

Pemberton has filled in admirably whenever starting goalkeeper, Keylor Navas, has been unavailable. Pemberton started all five games for the Ticos in the 2013 Copa Centroamericana.

CLUB CAREER

Joining the first team in 2003, Pemberton has spent almost his entire career with Alajuelense. He has spent most of that time as a backup, only recently joining the starting XI.
