CAREER HIGHLIGHTS (CHICAGO FIRE):

  • A product of the Chicago Fire Academy, Gutman, 27, made his Fire debut against the Philadelphia Union on Feb. 24 at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa., before leaving the match due to injury.
  • Gutman returned from injury on April 27, making his home debut with Chicago Fire FC against Atlanta United FC.
  • The Hinsdale native has appeared in seven matches (seven starts) with Chicago Fire FC since arriving in 2023.
  • Recorded his first assist with Chicago on Hugo Cuypers’ goal against St. Louis on May 11.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Gutman tallied three goals and five assists in 18 appearances (16 starts) with Atlanta United FC before joining the Colorado Rapids, where he made 12 appearances (12 starts) in the second half of the campaign.
  • In college, Gutman won the 2018 MAC Hermann Trophy – the annual award given to the United States’ best college soccer player.
  • Gutman also earned first-team All-America honors and was tabbed the Big Ten Defender of the Year and received First-Team All-Big Ten recognition as the outside back led Indiana with 11 goals and added nine assists in his senior campaign.
