Roberto Avila

A product of the Houston Dynamo Academy, Beto returned to H-Town as a member of the inaugural MLS NEXT Pro squad following stints at Lonestar SC, Austin Bold, and Edmonton FC. Avila scored five goals in his run with Dynamo Dos, which quickly earned him the first professional contract from the upstart league in Club history. Following a string of U.S. Open Cup appearances, Avila made his full first-team debut in the Dynamo's 2-0 win over Nashville SC on May 14th. Avila would earn his first MLS start two weeks later against Real Salt Lake.
